My Life as a Consultant


Dr. Phillip Good's Talk, "My Life as A Consultant" October 27th from 6 to 9 pm at UCSD School of Medicine Leichtag Biomedical Research Building Conference Room #107
 
Phillip Good, Ph.D., a graduate of Berkeley's program in mathematical statistics with a quarter century of consulting experience will talk about variety of very interesting projects in aerospace, computers, medical devices, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, and pricing. He will also talk about many bizarre experiences and some doomed projects, humorous in retrospect, including the tale of the methamphetamine addict and his empty data base, also known as the Christmas Eve massacre. Every statistician working in the industry or in the university has to face the clients and naturally has interesting consulting experiences. So come and join us to hear the humorous account of Dr. Good's good and funny experiences.
